Invited Article: Appropriate Fluid Resuscitation in Acute Pancreatitis

Abstract :
Fluid resuscitation is critical in the management of acute pancreatitis. Early fluid resuscitation within the
first 24 hours should be used carefully because too little or too much fluid is both associated with worse outcomes.
The optimal amount is probably around 4 L within the first 24 hours. Lactate Ringer solution is preferred to NSS.
